Hello! I’m Heidi Cephus, and I am the VRHS Choice and Success Advisor.

My role is to connect students with the resources that they need to succeed beyond high school whether they immediately enter the workforce, join the military, enroll in a trade school, or attend a 2-year or 4-year college. I can help students explore career interests, set up job shadows, and apply for internships.

Before coming to Vista Ridge, I taught English at Oklahoma State University and at the University of North Texas. I have also worked in freelance writing, technical writing, sales, and customer support, and I am excited to bring all these experiences with me to serve Vista Ridge students.

In my free time, I enjoy playing disc golf, running, baking, and reading detective fiction. I am passionate about helping students explore their interests, set goals, and develop plans to ensure success, and I look forward to working with you!
