    Meridian Ranch Elementary Families,

As we walk this E- Learning journey together, we want to express our gratitude to our Meridian Ranch Elementary Families and Community. Our staff continues to work hard in planning and implementing lessons remotely, our families have been gracious and supportive with partnering with us in providing educational opportunities for their learners, and our zone and district has been supportive in checking in frequently and providing resources and systems to promote ongoing learning. Though devices and the internet are critical components of E-Learning, our most valuable resource continues to be our people.

We want to make sure you are doing well as we journey together, so at any point you have questions or concerns please reach out to us. We are committed to ensuring that every child stays connected and supported as we all wait eagerly for our return to “normal” operations. In the meantime, hang in there, enjoy time together with your family and let us know if you need any additional support.

    In continued partnership,

    Sheehan Freeman-Todd - Principal Contact: 719-494-2902/sfreeman-todd@CO01900838.schoolwires.net

  • How you can Support E-Learning

    • Please provide a quiet learning environment as free from digital and personal distractions as possible.

    • Have your child log into the Schoology class everyday and attend zoom meetings and complete assignments.

    • Establish routines to structure the day-with expectations for time “in school”. A structured day is very helpful during “learning time”.

    • Reach out to your child's teacher when you need help.

    • Communicate about your child's attendance and if he/she will be absent due to illness or other emergency by 9:00am. Please email Cassie Donatell at cdonatell@CO01900838.schoolwires.net  to report any absences. Our attendance line will also be monitored for voicemails at (719)494-2906.

    • Look for school/district communications and respond when appropriate. Please stay alert for messaging through all of our channels - the D49 App, our social media feeds, and our district website, where you will find updates and reliable information regarding the in-person learning/building closure. District 49 communication and updates can be found all compiled in one place here - https://CO01900838.schoolwires.net/site/Default.aspx?PageID=8477
