Hello Stetson Elementary! I am a bilingual school psychologist with more than 25 years of experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. While living in Barcelona, Spain from 2002-2007, I led my own class at a private international school, helping elementary and preschool Spanish-speaking students with English language immersion and examinations. After returning to the U.S., I spent 14 years in Colorado public schools on a multilingual assessment team in Denver and then as a bilingual diagnostician and developmental psychologist on the "birth-to-five" Child Find team in Boulder. I am thrilled to have been invited to join the Stetson team to support the school's many programs at all grade levels in both Spanish and English!

I have recently moved to Colorado Springs with my 12 year old son and our three guinea pigs, Nubs (aka "Grandpa Guinea), Spud, and the fuzziest of them all, Fluffy McFlufferson. My son and I look forward to taking on our first "fourteener" hike in the near future, but we also have many great annual traditions that we have developed in Colorado as well as our favorite places to visit here, like the autumn Elk Fest in Estes Park.
