Hello Stetson Raiders! 

My name is Nina Saroyan and I am truly honored to serve as Assistant Principal of Stetson Elementary School.

This is my second year as Assistant Principal of Stetson Elementary and my 16th year as an educator. My career in education started when I was an AmeriCorps volunteer, helping to provide free high quality preschool services to children in Nevada. As a military spouse, I was able to expand my skills as a classroom teacher in four different states and multiple school districts. 

In 2017, my husband, our two children, and I had the great fortune to make Colorado Springs our home. I continued my career in education as a classroom teacher and then as an instructional coach and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Coordinator for Academy District 20. In 2021, I earned a Master of Arts in Leadership, from the College of Education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. 

I am very excited to start my second year as part of the District 49 family, the Sand Creek Zone, and the Stetson Elementary School community.
