Nací en Lima, Perú, donde asistí a la escuela primaria. Mi familia emigró al sur de California, donde completé mi educación, conocí y me casé con mi esposo hace 37 años. Tenemos tres hijos adultos y un nieto que también es estudiante aquí en Stetson. Obtuve mi licenciatura de la Universidad de California en Irvine y mi credencial de enseñanza de California de la Universidad Estatal de California en Fresno. He enseñado a niños de primaria de diferentes grados y trabajé como maestra sustituta durante varios años. Algunas de mis cosas favoritas para hacer en mi tiempo libre son viajar a Perú, hacer senderismo, jardinería y pintar acuarelas.

I was born in Lima, Peru where I attended elementary school. My family immigrated to Southern California where I completed my education and met and married my husband of 37 years. We have three grown children and one grandson who is also a student here at Stetson. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California Irvine and my California Teaching Credential from California State University Fresno. I have taught elementary school-age children of different grade levels and worked as a substitute teacher for several years. Some of my favorite things to do in my free time are traveling to Peru, hiking, gardening, and watercolor painting.
