Hello Stetson Families! My name is Ashley Hamman and I am excited to be returning to teach at Stetson as the Spanish teacher! This will be my 10th year teaching and my first year teaching Spanish. I taught 5th grade at Stetson from 2018-2020 and am so glad to return.

 I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, graduating with my bachelor's from the University of Northern Colorado and receiving my master’s from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Shortly after graduating in 2015 I moved down to Peru and started teaching. 

I lived in Peru for about 7 years altogether that is where I met my husband, Frank. We just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary and we welcomed our first baby girl this past March. We just moved back to Colorado in June and are excited to be closer to family. 

I am obsessed with Disney and looking forward to the day when I get to take my daughter. I cross stitch and like trying new recipes in the kitchen. I love to travel and learn about different cultures and I can’t wait to bring that love into the classroom and teach your children about different cultures.
