I am excited to be starting my first full year teaching at Remington Elementary School! I am the Special Education teacher for our school's two site-based programs, Social Communications and Affective needs. I was raised in Colorado Springs, and am a D20 graduate. I received my undergraduate education from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas and a master's degree from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. My family and I are thrilled to be back home in Colorado Springs after spending the past 15 years teaching Special Education in Kansas. I look forward to the adventures this school year will bring, and can't wait to watch the students grow in academics and beyond!
