Mrs. Natalie Cummings
Hello! I started my education career in 2011 as the Lead Student Support Coach at Springs Studio for Academic Excellence (formerly Falcon Virtual). I am currently the electives teacher at Pikes Peak Early College and love the school we are building. My passion for technology has motivated me to use 21st century skills to drive instruction and inspire students. In 2016 I created our first makerspace to allow students to innovate and create in a fun, energetic environment. We are 3D printing, coding, creating music, learning about arduinos and rasprberry pi's and all electrical engineering has to offer. I am excited to continue to grow and develop our new space and allow students to become makers, artists, entrepreneurs, designers, and game changers who are collaborating to revolutionize education.
I am originally from California, and I moved to Colorado in 2005 to explore the Front Range and all Colorado has to offer. I was working for the YMCA in summer and after school programs while I continued my educaiton at UCCS and eventually earning my teacher license from Grand Canyon University. I enjoy skiing, camping, hiking, and all things outside. I have 2 dogs who are wild and crazy and make life way more enjoyable. I look forward to helping students become creative and curious in the classroom and about the world around them.
