OES Family Orientation is Friday, August 2nd.
Come meet teachers, and drop off supplies during this open house format orientation on Friday, August 2nd. Sign-up genius will be going out to sign up for one of four sessions. The times will be 9:00-9:50 am, 10:00-10:50 am, 4:00-4:50 pm, and 5:00pm-5:50pm.
In the POWER Zone, elementary schools differ from the district calendar slightly at the beginning of the year to provide families with this unrushed time to get to know the school and teachers for a strong start to the year.
OES First Day of Classes is Monday, August 5th for Grades K-5
The first full day for students in grades K-5 is Monday, August 5th.
Breakfast will be served starting at 7:55 am.
Doors will open for all students at 8:10 am.
Classes start at 8:20 am.
Dismissal is at 3:30 pm.
OES Pre-School First Day of Classes is Wednesday,
August 7th
More information about Pre-School will be coming from the Early Childhood Office and the OES Pre-School teacher.

Free Sports-School Physicals for Military Connected Students - Active duty and retired military families are invited to start the school year of strong with free sports and school physicals for students ages 4-21. Physicals will be provided at the Warrior Family Medical Clinic at Evans Army Community Hospital on Fort Carson. Bring ID cards for sponsor and children age 10 or older and any immunization records with you. Call the Access to Care line at (719) 524-2273 to set up an appointment. Available dates and times:

D49 Student Check Out Procedure
*Any parent/friend/relative picking up a student must be listed as an approved contact with “pick-up” privileges in PowerSchool and must present their valid, legible, government issued photo ID. We will only call students out of class, once you have arrived and we have checked your ID. We ask that you plan accordingly. We will not send your student out of the building to meet you in the parking lot. Thank you for your understanding.

Parent Portal

Parents/guardians can update phone numbers, email addresses, and emergency contacts through PowerSchool Parent Portal. You may also view schedules, grades, etc. For an address change, please bring in proof of residency to our Attendance Secretary (utility bill, trash service or lease).
The parent portal will also be the place where you can report an absence.

Pay School Fees
Subject to change - School fees are as follows:
Student Fee per student -$25.00.
Technology Insurance Fee per student - $30.00.
PZ Personalized Learning Fee - $35.00
You can pay online (StudentQuickPay.com) or pay in the front office with a check or cash.
