Hello! My name is Erin Barkhurst and I am so happy to be teaching Kindergarten! This is my first year at Evans. I am a recent graduate from UCCS; I have a BA in Inclusive Elementary education with an endorsement in culturally and  linguistically diverse education (CLDE). I have worked exclusively with young learners and have recently completed my student teaching in District 11. I moved to the Springs in 2019 from Virginia but have lived all around the world as an Air Force brat. I love traveling and exploring my new home; I look forward to seeing a year full of growth and fun with each student!
