Hi - I am Sarah Cyr.  This is my first year at Evans Elementary, and I am so excited!  I have taught for over 15 years, and I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades in the past. 

I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, and listening to music.  I am originally from Iowa, but I have lived in Colorado Springs for over 40 years. 

I have been married for 30 years and have two (now adult) children, Alexander and Corrine.  My husband and I are getting used to an empty house and finding fun activities to do together.  We have two dogs at home, and a 'grand-dog' that visits with my son.  

Family and continuing education are important to me, so I work hard to establish a strong sense of community and family in my classroom.  I will work with you and your students to help them learn and grow all year long.
