Hello, I am Mrs. Heather and am honored to be a Reading Interventionist Para here at RVES.    I have worked in D49 since 1996.  I started as a crossing guard, then quickly moved into special education as a para, then "retired"  as Administrative Secretary.  When the opportunity came to work part time as a reading interventionist para I jumped on it.  What a rewarding job it is.  Love to see the students light up when they learn a new word, read a full sentence, or comprehend the paragraph/story...it's amazing!  Our family moved here in 1994 with the Air Force and we were able to stay and retire here.  I am married to Larry, we have a son John, beautiful daughter-n-law Liz, and two wonderful granddaughters London and Emma.  I enjoy running, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  I look forward to the year ahead, the students that I will be working with, and what God has planned for me.
