Amy Dreher is the nurse for Sand Creek High School and the Transition Program. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2011, she completed her Master's in Public Health from Walden University. She is also a Nationally Board Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C) and sits on the advisory board for CDE/CDPHE for Concussion and Traumatic Brain Injuries. She is the lead disaster nurse for the American Red Cross for the Tri-Lakes Area since 2008. Her background is in emergency medicine (for 15 years) and school nursing (for the past 14-years). She has 3 daughters, a wonderful husband, and a beautiful Akita named Angel.
