My name is Katie Boaz. I graduated from Texas State University in 2012 with a bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialty in 4-8 mathematics. I started my teaching career at Fredericksburg Middle School in Fredericksburg, TX where I taught 6th grade math, 8th grade math, and 8th grade Algebra. The following year, I moved to Hays CISD in Kyle, TX where I taught Algebra and coached softball and volleyball. During my time at Hays, I continued to teach Algebra, Geometry, and College Algebra. I also earned my Masters of Education in Mathematics while I was teaching in Hays CISD. This is the start of my 12th year as a teacher. I am incredibly excited to not only be at Sand Creek High School, but also to be teaching in the beautiful state of Colorado.
