I am so excited to continue my journey in Gifted Education and keep my role as the K-5 Gifted & Talented Facilitator here at Odyssey Elementary School.  For the first ten years of teaching, I absolutely loved being a middle school English Language Arts teacher, department chair, and reading promoter extravaganza!  These last two years at the elementary level have sincerely won my heart over.  This year I will be split between Odyssey and Inspiration View.

Before moving to Colorado Springs in 2022, I grew up in Upstate NY, lived in Seattle, WA for almost two decades, and spent an interesting two years in Carmel, IN right after Covid.  I spent ten years in college while in WA State (BA in English & Creative Writing; Masters of Education in Literacy; Masters of Education in Teacher Leadership) and recently finished my coursework for the Gifted Education endorsement through UCCS.  When not at school, I love to play with my two crazy Bengal cats, read mystery novels, write poetry, draw, and cook vegetarian meals.  

I am so excited for what this year brings, and I look forward to continuing to help students grow into their true passions and potential!
