The Falcon Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises funds beyond the usual means of support to help students and teachers reach their full potential, now and into the future. A healthy school district partners with local residents and businesses to help meet the growing demands of education to increase student achievement and prepare students for work in the 21st century. Mission
To provide funds for innovative and unique educational opportunities.
Purpose
To provide private support to education beyond the limits of normal tax support. The Falcon Education Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation under the laws of Colorado.
Resources
The foundation’s only source of revenue is income generated by fundraising. These resources are made available from individual donations, corporate donations, fundraisers, foundations, estates and charitable gifts.

The Falcon Education Foundation considers educational opportunities that are creative, innovative and beyond the regular classroom curriculum.Board of Trustees

Call For Volunteers:
The Falcon Education Foundation is always looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who would like to volunteer skills, resources or ideas to support its mission.
The board meets monthly and holds a big annual fundraiser each spring. FEF welcomes new board directors and individuals who would like to help specifically with the annual fundraiser.
If you would like to directly affect the quality of education in District 49 classrooms, please reach out to an FEF board director.
Falcon Education Foundation Scholarships At Falcon High School

Falcon High School Excellence Scholarship:
The Falcon Education Foundation is pleased to award The Falcon High School “Excellence” Scholarship to deserving Falcon High School seniors. This special opportunity is made possible through generous gifts provided by donors and businesses in the Falcon High School community.
The scholarship gives preference to students who not only have verified financial need but also demonstrate merit. Financial need may be verified by evidence such as eligibility for free and reduced lunch or the requested family contribution documented on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). An eligible recipient must:- Have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Be active in co-curricular or community actives (e.g. student government, clubs, athletics, after school employment)
The scholarship committee reserves the right to use its discretion to determine the scholarship recipient based on a “whole person” concept.Scholarship funds will be disbursed after the selected student provides enrollment verification for the school of their choice and disbursed in even increments each semester for 4 years while the student is continuously enrolled at an institution of higher education (note: this scholarship is only available to students who intend to complete a 4-year degree).Two 2015 Excellence Scholarships will be awarded. One recipient will receive $5,000 per year and one recipient will receive $2,000 per year.
The recipient will be required to maintain a cumulative G.P.A of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale while attending college to continue receiving funds (renewals verified by the Scholarship Committee each March).
A Scholarship Committee consisting of the donors as well as a team of three students & three Falcon High School Counselors will select the scholarship(s). The number of scholarships may vary each year and will be determined by the amount of funds available.The application must be submitted by March 1st of the student’s senior year.
