Hello, my name is Peyton Keigher (Mrs. Keigher) and I am a 5th-grade teacher here at Meridian Ranch- Go Bulldogs! I graduated from Grand Canyon University in April 2022 with my bachelor's in Elementary Education. I was a kinder aide in college and student-taught in 1st grade at Martinez Elementary in District 11. This is my second year teaching and I couldn't have been more excited about starting my career here with your kiddos.

I grew up in and have lived in Colorado Springs my whole life. My husband, Maverick, and I have been married for almost 2 years, and we have one giant furbaby- or doggy named Morty. When I am not at school, I enjoy taking photos, painting, camping, hiking or fishing with my husband, and spending time with my family. 

Not to be biased, but I think 5th grade is the absolute best age group- they are growing in their personalities and are starting to become independent young adults- not to mention, they have the best humor. I feel more than privileged to be working with them again this year. I can't wait to meet you and your students. This will be a great year!
