Mrs. Bachman was born in Florida and moved to Colorado with her family when she was 7. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado. She has always loved school, especially science! She went to Colorado State University (Go Rams!). She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Wildlife Biology in 2007. She then moved to Colorado Springs in 2010 to go to Colorado College and earn a Master's of Arts in Teaching -Science Education. She has been teaching at Skyview ever since and loves it!

She has a husband and toddler (whom she often chases around while trying to simultaneously grade). She enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with family/friends.
