Hello! My name is Dawn Takacs and this is my first year teaching at Falcon Elementary. I am originally from Mississippi and I moved to Colorado Springs with my family two years ago. I am married and have two boys ages 14 and 10. I love spending time with my family and watching my boys play sports. In my free time, I love being outdoors. I especially enjoy hiking and exploring the beautiful landscapes of Colorado.

I have taught Physical Education for ten years and I am so excited to be your child's PE teacher.  My main priorities are for my students to develop a love for being physically active and to become active participants in their education. I believe students of all skill levels can be successful in PE class. I can't wait to see your child grow in PE this year!
