Welcome!  My name is Kari Jones, and I am the math and reading interventionist here at FES.  I grew up in a small rural town in eastern Iowa and have been an educator for twenty-two years.  I earned my bachelor's degree in K-8 education and K-6 mathematics.  I earned my master's of education in curriculum instruction with an emphasis in early childhood from Doane College in Nebraska, and I have most recently earned a Reading Specialist endorsement from the Univeristy of Kansas.   

I am extremely excited to be working with small groups of students to build their foundational math and reading skills at FES this year.   I look forward to working with students and watching them learn and grown throughout the year. 

I love reading, watching movies, spending time with family, and playing with my two cats.  I also like to do some baking and gardening when I find the time.
