Dear Falcon Families,
Welcome to 4th grade and the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Julie Zuckerman, and I will be your student’s teacher this year! I wanted to share some information about myself and some important dates coming up.
This will be my second year teaching at FESoT. I am so grateful to have found a home here. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grades, but fourth grade truly is my favorite. I substitute taught in the district the year before last, so that I could help our daughter with our first grandchild, Charlotte. My daughter is in the Army and was in Korea at the time, so I spent 3 ½ months helping her. Previously to that, I spent five years teaching in Florida. When we lived here before, I taught at a Colorado charter school in D11 and third grade in D49 at Stetson Hills.
Multiple moves over the years has been hard, so I am really glad to be able to stay in Colorado for awhile. My husband and I are both Army veterans, so moving has been a part of our entire adult lives. My husband, Dan, works on Peterson and is thankfully getting closer to retirement.
We have two grown daughters. Briana is a Physician Assistant in the Army. Bridgette was in the Army Reserves and is currently a Physician Assistant in Washington State. We try to visit them as often as possible. We also have a border collie, Bailey, who we got from the shelter. She has way too much energy, but we try to keep up.
You will receive an email from the school about picking up your student's iPad and about Back to School Night. You should bring your student's supplies to Back to School Night. I look forward to meeting you and your child then.
I am looking forward to a great year! See you Friday, Aug. 2 for our first day of school!!
