Aloha-

It will be a pleasure to be your student's 5th grade teacher this new school year. I am very excited to get back into the classroom and bring about an environment that encompasses a flexible, creative, outside-the-box, and collaborative learning approach.

A tidbit about me: I was a fisheries biologist where I worked aboard commercial fishing vessels throughout Alaska and California as a Fish and Game Warden. After nearly 10 years in fisheries, I discovered teaching, resulting in a new career path, where I feel I have found my true passion.  I have been in the field of education and teaching at the Elementary and Middle School levels since 2005 with a Masters in Education. I am an Army wife, a mom, and a lover of the outdoors, making Colorado a place our military family calls our forever home now.  I have been a part of the Falcon Elementary School family since 2019 and am proud to call myself a Hawk.
