Welcome to my class webpage! I am very excited to be working with your 5th grader this year! This is my second year at Falcon Elementary School of Technology, and I am overjoyed to teach at the same school I attended as an elementary student. Prior to teaching, I spent two years working as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Evans Elementary School. During that time, I also worked as a substitute teacher at Evans. 

A little about me: I am Colorado born and raised, and attended different schools in School District 49. I'm a mom of 2 boys, one of whom will be attending FESoT. I love hockey, and I'm a die-hard Colorado Avalanche fan. I love to read, crochet, and do yoga in my spare time. I also enjoy binge watching TV from time to time!

In my classroom, I strive for students to be critical thinkers and problem solvers. Students are growing up in a different landscape than we did, and it's my belief that the ability for students to apply these 21st century skills to both academic content and real-world problems will help them succeed in their future endeavors. I want all students to feel safe, cared for, and excited about coming to school every day! As their parent, it is my sincerest hope that we can work together as a team to encourage a love of learning, and to help them achieve their goals.
