I have enjoyed teaching elementary students since 1994.  My experience includes teaching Kindergarten, first grade, and serving as a reading interventionist for grades 1-4. Prior to my teaching career, I worked in business for over 6 years. Because of my desire to work with children, I pursued a teaching degree, which I obtained at UCCS. I continued on to earn my Master’s degree in education from the University of Phoenix.

My husband is a teacher in District 11 and we have a college-age daughter.  I am a Colorado native who has lived most of my years in beautiful Colorado.  Some of my hobbies include hiking, camping, reading, gardening, traveling, stamping, and scrapbooking.
