Welcome to room 36, 2nd Grade!

I have been a primary grade teacher here at Springs Ranch since 2007. It is my pleasure to be teaching second grade this year at our school! In my classroom, students will be exposed to academics through various teaching methods and the latest technology Springs Ranch has to offer. I consider myself a lifelong learner and am excited to help students learn to be good citizens and motivated learners as well. My most recent education includes a B.A. in English Literature and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction.

Students in my classroom will be encouraged to take risks in a safe learning environment. My students will be exposed to many different teaching strategies, including cooperative learning. We all learn in different ways and I will support students as we discover together the necessary tools needed for their success. Our classroom goal is to achieve our personal academic goals while following the basic rules of respect, responsibility, and safety.
