Hello Bennett Ranch Families! My name is Mary Beth Spurlock, and I am so excited to be teaching at Bennett Ranch! I helped open this building in 2018, and it has been a wonderful place to work!

 

I am a wife and mom of 3. I love spending time outside. My family is always busy. Many of my students call me a farmer, because we have horses, cats, dogs, and chickens, and we raise our own turkey, pork, and beef. My two younger kids have both been involved in 4-H and FFA for many years and have shown pigs. I am a gardener and I love to can what I grow. I also scrapbook and love photography.

 

I have been teaching since 2001 and have taught Kindergarten, First, and Second Grades. I am looking forward to our year in kindergarten for 2024-2025!

  

I gained my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Tennessee, and I am a Vol for Life - Go Big Orange! I completed my Master's Degree in Math in May of 2020, and I strongly believe that everyone can learn and be good at math. It is valuable in creating students with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
