My name is Sabrina Tester, and I am so excited to be a part of the 1st grade team at Bennett Ranch Elementary. 

I was born in Germany to a military family and the oldest of two girls. When I graduated from high school in Tennessee, I attended our local state college for a year before moving to Texas with my high school sweetheart and now husband Daniel. I continued my education at a local community college and then state college before getting orders to move to Hawaii. Once there, I finally finished my degree in Finance and quickly realized that was not the career for me.

I toughed it out until we moved to Fayetteville, NC, where I began volunteering in my oldest son’s kindergarten class and realized this is what I was meant to do with my life. I returned to school to complete two more years of college to receive my teaching certificate. During that whole time, I worked full-time in the military and county schools as a sub for 3 years before getting orders to Germany. Once in Germany, I began working at Landstuhl Elementary/Middle School as a substitute for 2.5 years before finally getting my own classroom 11 years ago. This will be my 16^th year in the classroom, and I am still as excited as I was that first year of teaching.
