Welcome to Ms. Martin's 4th grade class! I am so excited to continue in our seventh year as Bennett Ranch Bulls in a new role as a 4th grade teacher! 

This will be my 16th year of teaching in Colorado. I started out teaching 2nd grade in Pueblo for three years. I continued my career in D11 as a 3rd grade teacher and a K-2 Reading Interventionist while completing my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Literacy. I then moved on to D2 as a 3rd grade teacher, during which I completed my Master's in Leadership with the Principal's License option.  I worked as a 3rd grade teacher for the last 6 years here at BRES, but get to start a new chapter in 4th grade this year!

I have wanted to teach since I was 7, when my first grade teacher had a former student return to tell her that she went on to become a teacher. I thought it was so amazing to have that impact on another person and have had my sights set on making a difference in children's lives since then! 

I have two children, Kynleigh (13) and Liam (10), who will be attending PPSEL and BRES this year!  I am so happy to be in an environment where I feel completely comfortable trusting that my children will receive the best education around!

The 2024- 2025 school year is going to be amazing here at BRES and I cannot wait for all the amazing things that we will share together!
