I am excited and proud to be a 1st grade teacher at Bennett Ranch Elementary School.  

This is my 25th year in education. My career began in California when I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in History. My professional experience includes teaching at the following grade levels: three years in California in grades 2 and 1; grades 1, 2, 4, and 5 in Colorado over the past 10 years.  I have enjoyed each experience and the challenge these grade levels have brought.  I have also been lucky enough to have taught English to junior high school students in Japan for two years.

My husband and I have a son and a daughter, ages 19 and 22.  As a family, we enjoy hiking, visiting with relatives, and relaxing at home with our dog Chance and cat Tigerlily.
