I am excited to return this year as the Gifted Facilitator for Bennett Ranch! I have been teaching K-5 students for over twenty years in Colorado, and this will be my sixth year in gifted education. I love working with gifted and talented students and supporting families and teachers with resources. I value relationships with my students and provide opportunities for them to thrive and enjoy school. 

Gifted children need opportunities to excel, explore, and share their passions with others. Our program includes hands-on learning, exploration, advanced curriculum, and student-choice projects. I currently meet with grade-level pullout groups for 50-minute blocks twice per week. I am also the Falcon High School Gifted Facilitator and sponsor the GT Chess Club.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 15 years and two children. My son is in 8th grade at Skyview Middle, and my daughter is a fourth-grader at ALLIES. We have two ninja cats that complete our small family. Working out at Orange Theory, hiking, shopping, and traveling are some of my hobbies. Starbucks is one of my happy places.
