Mrs. Aireal Humphrey
Hello Everyone,
I am Aireal Humphrey and a part of the First Grade Team here at BRES!! I am a Veteran of the United States Air Force and I really love to serve my community. My husband of many years is still on active duty. Together, we have two children and two fur babies. We have lived in Falcon for a handful of years now, and absolutely LOVE the Falcon Community.
My love for teaching started when I was in high school. I volunteered as a teacher's assistant for second grade summer school, and it was the highlight of my high school years. After exiting the Air Force, I completed a B.A. in Sociology, an M.A. in Criminal Justice, and then came back to education by completing an M.A.T. in Elementary Education. I am certified in the CO Department of Education's READ Act, as literacy is a huge component to first grade.
I love every student that walks through my door. They are greeted with a hug, elbow bump, or high five and a smile every single morning. I am passionate about educating our youth and helping them learn tools to navigate this world long after they leave my classroom. This starts with building a strong classroom community and really pushing for literacy achievement. I have only taught First Grade, as it has totally captured my heart :)
