Hello families! 

My name is Heather Carpenter and I am so excited to be your child’s Third Grade Teacher!  I love watching and helping students learn and have a passion for instilling a love of learning. 

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Regis University with a dual license in both Elementary Education K-6, and Special Education Generalist, ages 5-21.  I worked in special education for over a decade before transitioning to the classroom.  I started as a kindergarten teacher and am now very excited to be teaching first grade!  

I am married to my husband Jason and have three daughters and a son.  We also have two wild puppies, a beagle and a French bulldog.  As a family we enjoy spending our time outdoors hiking, golfing, skiing, watching sporting events (Roll Tide) and exploring new places.
