I am so excited to be teaching second grade this year at IVES! This will be my 12th year teaching in District 49. . I previously taught 4th and 5th grades at Odyssey Elementary and though I loved those grades I am so excited to be teaching your kiddo in 2nd grade!   

 

I am a true Colorado Springs native, born and raised here. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Communications with a minor in business marketing from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs (UCCS). I then went on to Regis University and received my Masters of Education with certifications in Literacy and Autism. I coached volleyball at Sand Creek High School for a short while as well. 

 

I have a 4 year old daughter and we love going on adventures! I love the outdoors, in the winter you will find me on the slopes snowboarding and in warm weather I love to hike and paddle board - the perks of the amazing place we live! I love to read, craft, and take pictures. I also love sports, watching or playing them! 

 

I look forward to partnering with you this year and seeing the growth these kiddos will make! It is going to be a great year!
