Hello IVES Flyers! I am so excited to be returning to IVES this year and even more excited to be in second grade!

Last year, I taught fifth grade at Fort Belvoir Upper Elementary in Virginia. Previously, I have substituted in California and here in Colorado, and you may remember me from the lunchroom and playground at IVES. I am originally from the east coast of Florida and attended college at University of South Florida in Tampa.  After college, I married my husband and we have moved 11 times in 21 years!

We are a Space Force family with deep roots in Colorado! We have a son and daughter who were both born here in the Springs, 10 years apart! Our daughter will be starting her sophomore year at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina and our son is headed to fourth grade. We are a family that loves all types of games. Whether it be competing in a trivia challenge or playing on the switch, we are always up for some friendly competition. You will often find me reading, cooking, drinking lemonade and playing board games with my family, as those are the things I enjoy most.

Teaching second grade at Inspiration View Elementary is my dream job, I am so excited for a great year!
