I would like to introduce myself to those of you who are new to our class and welcome back those of you who are returning after this long absence from classroom learning. My name is Kim Gutierrez and I am a native of Colorado. I have lived here the majority of my life, only spending  a few years in Idaho and on the East coast in Boston and Maine. I have five children and two grandchildren. I graduated from Regis University with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education and an undergraduate degree in History from UCCS. This will be my thirteenth year as an ECSE teacher and my second year in D49. Prior to that I taught third grade for two years and preschool for five years. During my free time I enjoy hiking and taking road trips.
