Hello, I’m Miss Garza! I am thrilled to be a part of the IVES community for the 24-25 school year as a third-grade teacher!
I grew up in Fort Collins, CO and moved to Colorado Springs for college in 2018. I attended UCCS, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Inclusive Elementary Education. A part of my program, I completed a full year of student teaching in a third- grade classroom. I absolutely love third grade, and I am so excited for what’s in store this school year!

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, cooking, and exercising! I look forward to spending quality time with my family and friends and am always eager to try new foods, activities, and be outdoors.

Aside from teaching, I have a plethora of experience working with children in a variety of roles, and something that remains constant is my passion for education and commitment to nurturing young minds. I am honored to be a part of each child’s educational journey, and I look forward to a year filled with growth, discovery, and endless possibilities!
