I am so excited to continue my journey in Gifted Education and join IVES as the K-5 Gifted & Talented Facilitator.  For the first ten years of teaching, I absolutely loved being a middle school English Language Arts teacher, department chair, and reading promoter extravaganza!  These last two years at the elementary level have sincerely won my heart over.  Working between Odyssey and IVES will be a much smoother year than Odyssey and Vista Ridge; although, the challenge was accepted and conquered.  

Before moving to Colorado Springs in 2022, I grew up in Upstate NY, lived in Seattle, WA for almost two decades, and spent an interesting two years in Carmel, IN right after Covid.  I spent ten years in college while in WA State (BA in English & Creative Writing; Masters of Education in Literacy; Masters of Education in Teacher Leadership) and recently finished my coursework for the Gifted Education endorsement through UCCS.  When not at school, I love to play with my two crazy Bengal cats, read mystery novels, write poetry, draw, and cook vegetarian meals.  

I am so excited for what this year brings and I look forward to continuing to help students grow into their true passions and potential!
