Hi! My name is Khyla Alexander, and I started at Horizon as a student teacher in 2022, and after graduating from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with my degree in English Secondary Education, I joined the HMS staff as one of the 8th grade Language Arts teachers! I've been in the field of education since 2016 and have enjoyed working with and supporting students every step of the way. I'm a Colorado native, and during my free time, I spend most of my time at home with my fiancé Brendan and our two cats. I also enjoy getting outdoors to go hiking, reading, and spending time with my friends.
