Hi Horizon Panthers! 

I am so excited to join the panther family and am thrilled to begin my 8th year of teaching at Horizon Middle School! I spent my first 7 years in education teaching special education in a middle school in District 11 here in Colorado Springs. I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, graduated from Coronado High School, then went on to attend the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. I've always admired the strong sense of community and the commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. I'm excited to contribute to a school that values inclusivity and excellence. 

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, going on hikes with my Golden Retriever, Gus, and every weekend in the fall, you can find me cheering on the Denver Broncos!  I look forward to working together with students, parents, and staff to make this a memorable and successful year for all. Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead!
