I am the photography and design teacher at Horizon Middle School. Though my experience is primarily at the high school and collegiate level, I'm excited to bring a new and fun curriculum to middle schooler's. My courses will provide students hands-on experience with professional cameras and design programs such as photoshop and lightroom, and they will learn composition and perception in a new way. While this is a creative course, the expectations for students are high, as working with expensive equipment is a privilege. 

A little about me, I have been teaching photography and graphic design for 7 years all across Colorado Springs. I've also ran a photography and videography business for the last 9 years, and still going strong! In addition to teaching, I have been a coach in the Springs at a few different schools, and this year am excited to coach C-Team volleyball at Horizon this year.
