Hello, my name is Camy Yantis! I will be teaching 8th grade Special Education in the areas of Reading and Math intervention. This is my 4th year as a certified teacher. I graduated in December 2021 from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Special Education (K-12 Generalist). Before working in education, I studied hospitality at Front Range Community College. I worked a paid internship with the Walt Disney World Resort and followed that experience with a year at Universal Studios in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Through the theme park experiences I was introduced to Give Kids The World, a resort for children with life-threatening illnesses. It was this volunteer experience that pushed me towards studying special education.  

A little about me: My family and I just moved here from Greeley, CO. My husband and I have been married for 6 years and have been blessed with a little girl in that time. I enjoy coffee, painting, reading, music of all kinds, theme parks, and ancestry/genealogy research.
