Hi everyone,

My name is Whitney Apodaca!  I am very excited about the school year!  This is my first year as a 6th-grade Social Studies teacher, but it is my 14th year at HMS and my 17th year teaching. I love teaching middle school and I am looking forward to getting to know your student this year!

I have lived in Colorado Springs for 21 years and love to spend time with my family, husband Aaron, daughter Quinn, (11 years) and son Bennett (7 years) in our beautiful state.  I also love making sourdough bread, reading, and cheering on my favorite team, the Denver Nuggets.
