Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  It is my pleasure to return to Woodmen Hills Elementary School to begin my 12th year of teaching!   I have 18 years experience working with children, including as a Special Education paraprofessional for 6 years, where I discovered my passion for teaching. I have been married for 33 years and have two daughters.  Both graduated from Falcon High School.  Alexandra just started her own business - Super Fluffy Cotton Candy Catering, and Christina is a business graduate from UCCS pursuing a career in cybersecurity.  I also have two fur babies; Olde English Pocket Beagles named Copper and Penelope.  I am proud to live in the community in which I work.  I believe in fostering the unique individuality of each student and cannot wait to get to know all the different personalities coming to me this year.  Although my classroom management style is highly structured, I am a nurturing person by nature and believe in building strong relationships with students and parents.  I look forward to having another fabulous year at WHES.
