Hello! My name is Joanie Chapman, and I am SOOO excited to be teaching music again at WHES this year. 

I came home in third grade and told my mom that I wanted to be a music teacher. Well, here I am living my dream 29 years later. I have been in D49 for the last 23 years. I graduated from Falcon HS and then Adams State College with my BA in K-12 music education. My husband Dave and I have been married for 29 years. We have two sons. Our oldest lives in a small town in Kansas living his best life with his fiancé and our youngest is going to college at PPSC. We have two dogs, one cat and five chickens that keep us company. In my spare time I enjoy singing, camping, watching baseball and scrap booking.
