Welcome to Mrs. Tapia’s Classroom Webpage. This is my 13th year at WHES and teaching fifth grade. I live in Colorado Springs with my husband, Vicente, and our two sons, Michael and Vicente. Teaching is my passion and every day I greet each of my students with a welcoming smile on my face.  My highest goal is to cultivate a passion in my students for learning and growth as well as prepare them for middle school. Learning is valuable in life and I hope to make this process fun, engaging, and accessible for all students.
