Welcome to Kindergarten! 

My name is Nicolette Harmon and I am so excited for this school year. The 24/25 school year marks my sixth year of teaching and third year in kindergarten! I have been at Woodmen Hills Elementary for four years, and have been a part of the Falcon community for over 12.  

A little bit about myself: I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's in Instructional Design from Grand Canyon University. I am a Colorado native; I was born in Denver and grew up in Castle Rock.  I have three children; Arianna (14), Kadence (10), and Chase (8).  They have or currently are attending WHES.  I can say as both a parent and teacher, this is hands down a one-of-a-kind place to be and I am so thankful to be a part of it!  I also have two dogs, Mya (Springer Spaniel) and Bailey (German Shepard).  As a family we do all sorts of fun things like camping, playing at the park, going to the zoo, and we love to visit family and friends.  My favorite hobby is fly fishing with my dad! 

I love teaching and I am looking forward to being a part of your child's educational journey.  In our classroom, our goal is to build a community of learners where your child can feel safe, valued, and respected. I want your child’s kindergarten year to be a very positive learning experience, both academically and emotionally!  Thank you for partnering with me this school year!
