Mrs. Kalyn Wilbur
This is my fourteenth year teaching and my tenth year at Woodmen Hills. Previously, I taught fifth grade in my home state of Georgia. I received my Bachelors of Science in Education in 2010 at the University of West Georgia. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy hiking, running, and being adventurous in beautiful Colorado with my husband, son, and dogs. I now spend most of my weekends chasing around my son, Nolan, running races, and cooking healthy meals. My highest goal is to cultivate a passion in my students for learning and growth. I believe in setting high expectations for learning in my classroom along with creating a positive environment so that my students will reach their full potential. Fifth grade is such a fun year with so many wonderful activities to celebrate. I am looking forward to a great year!
