Hello,

I am Mr. Lovelady. 2024-25 is my second year at Vista. I am teaching Biology and Zoology. 2024-25 will be my 29th year teaching high school science. I spent 27 years teaching science at Redwood High School in Marin County, CA. I have experience teaching many life and physical science courses to all four high school grade levels. 

Teaching is my passion. I strive to have high academic and citizenship expectations in class while providing a fun environment that students look forward to. My experience is that learning can be rigorous and fun at the same time. It is also important to me that the curriculum is relevant and interesting for students. 

My commitment to Vista High School is to always find ways that I can be useful to my students, my department, the greater Vista community, and be supportive of Vista’s leadership.
