I am a Colorado native born in Denver, Colorado. I have 2 adult children and a husband.I have been an artist myself as long as I can remember. My favorite areas of Art are 3D, Ceramics and Painting. My family also likes hiking, fishing, and being outdoors.

I have been teaching Art for about 4 years. Before teaching high school Ceramics, I taught Middle School General Art. I enjoy teaching students Ceramics because it teaches students how to be resilient, conceptual, hands-on and reflective in their process of creating works. All great life skills in any career they pursue. It is always exciting for me to help students go from never experiencing the use of clay to pieces they create and are proud of.
