This is my 18th year teaching with the last ten at Skyview Middle School here in D49.  I hate to admit it, but I am a complete and total history fanatic.  From the Lost Colony of Roanoke to the Cold War, I love to look below the surface to find the whole story.  It has been my passion since I was in school, so I can't wait to share it with you all.

Outside of school, I love everything Disney and often spend my breaks at Walt Disney World.  While a stroll through the world showcase at EPCOT can be a lot of fun, it has nothing on international travel.  I believe seeing the world gives us a fresh perspective on everything so I try to travel as often as I can. Other than that, I really enjoy all of the amazing things that Colorado has to offer, from hiking to camping, to playing in the snow.  

I would just like to take a moment to say thank you to all of the parents and guardians for entrusting me with your child's education.  I look forward to working with you to make this year amazing.
